We will begin editing by sorting through our clips and selecting the best ones for use, we will log this down on our time in/time out sheet. We will then put all our clips onto the computer and used Final Cut Pro to edit and use transitions to make the seqeuence look realistic. We will then put our music onto the computer and import it onto Final Cut Pro. The music we have chosen to use is an instrumental version of Rihanna's Russian Roulette.
We will need a video camera, mini DV tape and a tripod to film our opening sequence.
Filming Schedule Thursday 21st January: We’re going to film the first flashback on location in Walsall town centre. (With Michael)
Tuesday 26th January: We’ll film the final part of the opening sequence where Harry attacks Jane by the train station in Sutton Coldfield. (With Michael)
Thursday 28th January: We’ll film shots of Harry’s facial expressions supposedly in a prison cell using a white wall in an empty classroom at college
Friday 29th January: We plan to film the second flashback where Jane walks in on Harry’s adultery at Kirsty’s house.
Friday 5th February: We’ve arranged to go to the Police Museum in Sparkhill to film in a mock prison cell which will help the mis en scene to convey the conventions of a thriller. Permission to use the cell was granted by Dave Cross (with Chris- acting the part of Harry as we could not use Michael)
